Zen have lent me a Thomson Speedtouch ST546v6 router to see if my old Netgear router they supplied back in 2005 is the issue with my slow / stopped ADSL connection. It appears, but eary days yet, to have fixed the problem, although bRAS is still pretty low. With my Netgear DG834v2 I could plug network printers or laptops hardwired to my home LAN in to the rear sockets and they'd be seen and be usable. I also connected an ethernet switch to it and things connected to the switch were seen. this doesn't occur with the 546v6 router. They don't show in connected devices. Is this something to do with not having NAT running? I am very green with networking, is there an easy way to get this running during the days it's on test? Thanks.
