i did see this somewhere but cant find it?
i now have hg612 and the older eci both unlocked
also the new eci r so im woundering how do i find out what cab im on most likely the eci

With the HG612, log into the telnet interface and type

xdslcmd info --vendor
(or run DSLstats and read the data from the Stats tab).
