yeah I know 700 a day doesnt touch BTw FTTC DLM threshold, 1200 doesnt, 3000 doesnt either.  I also suspect BTw's DLM reacts more also if the errors are close together so eg. 3000 CRC errors in 1 minute may trigger DLM but 3000 spread out over 24 hours not.

SKY ADSL LLU has its own DLM system so of course likely different thresholds.

Once on a stability profile the threshold to get back to a better profile is likely lower than the one that puts you on the stability profile in the first place (to try and prevent flip flopping).

The Sky DLM on ADSL is the dogs wotsits now. I dunno what BT DLM is like now but the new Sky DLM is very nice indeed.

Then again Sky haven't got much in the way of options to increase average speed mmm? Well not without paying BT more.

I think the DLM on Sky's better connections may get more "inventive" - such as Annex M.

We'll see although I'm not at all sure I'm going to jump on the FTTC bandwagon. Drive is getting re-done in a couple of weeks, good time to clear out the BT conduit of debris and put a grommet on each end ;)
