Is it my imagination, or are email new posting alerts taking longer to arrive since change to SMF?

not sure astral - I dont use them.

Is there anything identifible in the headers for the delay.
PN mail servers were playing up yesterday since they are still in the process of making the change over to the new shiney ervers. (ie the ones were it all went wrong last time).  There are also several ISPs in the past few days whose mail servers were caught out with some mail bomb thingy, so Ive seen reports of problems across a few ISPs

Maybe existing notifications were stopped? I thought I had a couple come through before the SMF switch. Not to worry, just have to visit more reguarly! No doubt if subscribing to threads post-SMF upgrade it all works great.
