http://www.derby.gov.uk/apps/peregrines/webcam.asp
http://derbyperegrines.blogspot.co.uk/
We have a new 'scrape' (nest) Web Cam.
I'm not sure how long it will last with there projectile pooing
If you look across from the nest you can see 'The Silk Mill 1718 rebuilt 1910 the first true factory in England'
http://www.oldderbyphotos.co.uk/derby-silk-mill-73
Also next to the silk mill was the site of the 'Derby Power Station'
http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/epw021119
The view is looking East and you can see the river Derwent near the silk mill.
Enjoy .

Norwich Cathedral Spire

This snow is not good for the birds, Derby deep snow in scrape and she was due to lay an egg today. Nottingham, she has just just left the nest having been there with the snow building up around her all night.
Norwich , snow covering the camera.

For the Norwich Cathedral spire nest, the
alternative
camera is clear of snow and looks directly downwards.

From the 'looking down' static camera view, I can now disclose that two eggs have been laid at
Norwich Cathedral
.
I feel very sad for the
Nottingham
falcon. She is very determined to protect her egg(s).

Two eggs at Norwich
Also two at Nottingham
, you can see them as she has gone off the scrape .
At Derby they have been trying to melt the snow with a hot water bottle
.
