Copying Job Application.
« on: March 12, 2013, 09:48:22 PM »

Copying Job Application, My wife ask me how she can copy a 14 page job app under Linux and email it ?.

Something I have never done  :hmm: I have copied individual copies and emailed them as an attachments.

The only way I can think of is to copy each page then attach to the email, but what 'save' format would I use ? The scanners output is .pnm (I can change it) , I think that's a Linux one so if they use a windows computer it will not read it.

I use the utility scan2pdf.

At the basic level, it will allow 'N' multiple items to be scanned which are then packaged as one 'N'-page PDF format file.

What options do you have for the 'save' format? I'm sure that BGW should be able to understand JPG, PNG, PDF, etc, format files.  ::)

That sounds like the job,  I have just looked in my package manager and it's called 'Gscan2pdf' it looks like it's the same.
Will try that tomorrow thanks. :)
Lets hope she gets the job . ::)
