Some users have claimed that is the case. However, we don't yet have like for like stats from the different modems for comparison purposes.

Ah right understood, thanks  :)

There's quite a lot of RFI (radio frequency ingress) on your line from the MW broadcast radio transmitters in the area.

If we zoom in on the QLN tone map, and specifically the DMT tones up to 1600kHz (the MW band), we can see what's happening:

If we then plot the affected frequencies on the mediumwaveradio.com map, it illustrates the interference [1]

The interference from the turquoise dot is from the small commercial MW radio station RED (in Colchester). It geolocates you to North Essex.

The London stations are also being picked up nicely by your phone line, as is the BBC World Service transmission at Orfordness on the Suffolk coast (the yellow dot).

There is also measurable RFI higher up the VDSL2 spectrum.

cheers, a

SR a bit improved tonight so I rebooted and got a higher sync..  ;)
Hopefully this trend will continue and I may get close to my original speeds.

Interestingly DLM does seem to be following my sync speeds its currently 62.01 against 64.08 sync and fingers x. I've not yet run into any Interleaving Issues.
