Subject: Broadband connectivity (73298) - NEW

At around 10.30am a significant number of broadband customers were unexpectedly disconnected from the Internet.

Our supplier has advised us of a network issue which has caused this and is also preventing some customers from being able to reconnect.

If you are experiencing problems connecting please try logging into your router interface and click connect, although this may not establish a connection until the network issue is resolved.

This is under investigation and further details will be provided as they become available.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Chris Purvey

Subject: Broadband connectivity (73298) - Resolved

This is an update to this morning's post about the problem some customers may have been experiencing connecting to the Internet.

Our suppliers have resolved the network issue that affected some of our customers. Unfortunately following this morning's maintenance work we also came across an issue with one of our gateways that also contributed towards connectivity issues, this should have now been resolved.

If you're still having difficulties connecting then we suggest that you log into your router and try connecting manually from the settings pages.

Kind regards,
