Is it April the 1st?

Quote
Now it emerges the same power giants are threatening to break down the doors of customers who have not been at home when meter readers have paid a visit.

One note, sent to 140,000 customers of the German-owned Npower, reads: ‘We can enter your home even if you aren’t there and, if necessary, by force’.

And if I kill you with my shotgun thinking you are a common thief don't be surprised as you all seem to be anyway.

Nothing surprises me with the big 6 energy companies.

We have only ourselves to blame.......what other country in the EU has their life sustaining utilities owned and controlled by foreign companies... ???

A bit off subject but a couple of weeks ago we had a cold caller/salesman knock on the door from Netflix(bear in mind we have a sign on the door,no cold callers,salesmen)..He was a young (full of himself) guy who said to my OH "don't worry I'm not going to frighten you"..

She pointed to the sign on the door and said if you don't leave immediately my husband will certainly frighten you.. >:D

Him and his i-pad promptly disappeared down the garden path...

Of course all utility companies have right of access, for safety/engineering reasons, and have had for decades.
But not just to read your meter if you're out that day.   :'(

I never mentioned or quoted the Daily Mail so don't edit my post to show this and use as a quote.

Er, I'm confused and so it would appear are you.

The ORIGINAL post referred to the Daily Wail (not you), I think that's obvious if you take the time to reread the thread once you've "calmed down dear".  ;)

I've edited my post slightly so that's even more "bleedin obvious".
