Hi
Your line looks OK at the moment. Just let it settle . You might see some changes for the next few days as the training period progresses.

What kind of changes mate?

Can the attenuation decrease as DLM kicks in or sync improve?

No

>>> or sync improve?

It may improve or it may decrease.... it depends on the conditions on your line at the time you connect..  which will likely change each time.... but you knew that already didnt you ;)

Yes mate, how you been? Long time lol.

Yeh i hope the line can hold as it is. I thought the attenuation could change as some people on the Sky forums have had their attenuation numbers decrease as DLM progresses.

Attenuation is an indication of the length of the line.
It can change if you switch between adsl1/adsl2+ due to the additional frequencies used for adsl2+, but aside from that unless theres a fault on the physical line then attenuation should remain fairly static.

Could it be the target SNR they were talking about?

Just an update, my new house connects to the Ilford exchange and luckily enough I get FTTP. On the 160mbps trial at the moment, oh how technology changes!   ;D

In all seriousness, I would be perfectly happy with a symmetrical 4 Mbps DS & 4 Mbps US . . . ::)
