Alas, I'm sauce free as am working all **oody day tomorrow !! 

Maybe it was the schooling I received that threw me ?? I was always taught that 1+1= a Zebra. You really should hear my 7xtimes table !!

A biologist, a statistician and a mathematician are on a photo-safari in Africa. They drive out on the savannah in their jeep, stop and scout the horizon with their binoculars.
The biologist : "Look! There's a herd of zebras! And there, in the middle : A white zebra! It's fantastic ! There are white zebra's ! We'll be famous !"

The statistician : "It's not significant. We only know there's one white zebra."

The mathematician : "Actually, we only know there exists a zebra, which is white on one side."

That got me thinking if a white zebra would be a white horse...  and then is a zebra black on white or white on black.

However a quick google shows me that a white zebra actually has golden brown stripes.

... I remember a day in the Geography class when, as usual, I was daydreaming about everything except what the teacher was talking about.  I guess he was talking about African wildlife but my thoughts were elsewhere.  Suddenly I felt the whack of a lump of chalk strike my forehead.

"Right now Muddle, what have I just been talking about?  Tell me about leopards!"

I answered as best I could "Well, a leopard is a spotted tiger".

My answer seemed to do the trick as his stern face collapsed into giggles, he saw the funny side.  Probably still got the belt regardless, but it was all in good humour.

Sigh.. those were the days eh?   
I remember getting whacked on the back of my head with a thick maths book -  I mean really hard and enough to hurt for the rest of the day - because I was yacking with my mate during the lesson.   I still had headache when I got home but didnt dare tell my parents the reason why, cause I would have only got an earful off them too.
