Just a heads up that over the next couple of days there may be some oddness as the site is being transferred over to a new platform.

A fair bit of work will be going on in the background and I will also be taking the forums offline sometime after midnight (early hours 10/09/12) tonight to ensure a smooth transition of the forum database.

Aside from the forum database the site will be running on two different platforms for a short while, but you may see some oddness until DNS changes have been propagated.

The wiki will be going down very soon (like within the next 10 mins) as that will be the first to be transferred.

Slight hiccup with the wiki..  Im currently beavering away with a few wiki configs before the live swap-over the old wiki will still be showing to everyone.

This slight delay is looking like it will be tomorrow now before the forums will be done...  so the forum is still likely to be up tonight, and it will be tomorrow night before the rest of the stuff can be done.

It's a different hosting arrangement (but with the same host). The hope is that the new arrangement will be more resilient.

No, we're not moving away from SMF.

Progress report

Main site is now live, wiki is live, - See you guys didnt feel a thing did you?  ;D
Unfortunately I do have several bald patches on my head now though, and I still have a few bits to clear up.

Many many thanks to Vidahost - You guys rock because they even helped me out via TeamViewer when I got really stuck with something. 
Special thanks to Seb and Doug for their patience and help.  Some of the best customer support Ive ever come across.

Just the forum to go, which will be shutting down at 1am.

I need to get to bed as Ive several things on tomorrow and should be up in a few hours, but I think adrenaline is still pumping too much to be able to sleep -  after panic like mad situation Ive gone through over the past few hours.. :lol: .
