HTC Desire has died
« on: August 27, 2012, 10:53:31 AM »

Hey,

Friend of mine has an HTC desire. He has downgraded the firmware to 1.15 and it all went through correctly with no problems but the phone then restarted and now the screen will not come on. He can receive calls ok but the screen is just black. The phone was supplied to him by orange so they obviously had there own firmware on the phone so he has just changed the firmware to HTCs original firmware. Any ideas on a fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Gary

G'Day Gary if he gets the original software from xda, they'll check it and think the OTA update has killed the screen. Not that i've done that before  :graduate:
