« on: August 26, 2012, 04:43:32 PM »

I just picked up (for fun) a Huawei HG612 and BT Home Hub 3 for £2.20 and £5 first class postage. What a deal!

Indeed. If the HG612 is a type 3B, complete with the correct (white coloured) PSU and the HH3.0 is a 3.0B, then it is definitely a

The seller has confirmed that the model number of the HG612 is 3B. However, I am unsure about the model of HH3.0 or what colour the HG612 PSU is.

Hopefully the items will arrive tomorrow.

Excellent deal, arobertson545!

Wonder if the router will be the Home Hub 3.0a (Lantiq ARX168) or the Home Hub 3.0b (Broadcom 6361).   Odds of 1/3 on the former!

Received the modem and router today. I have the Home Hub 3.0a and the Huawei HG612 3B - which doesn't have a white PSU, it has the older black one (I assume this is because the seller had the older HG612 that was replaced, but the PSU wasn't).

I have the HG612 running as a modem router with DHCP running. I cannot find the option for DHCP reservation. Is it even there?
