G'day folks. I haven't been here for a while, mainly 'cos I already know everything about everything that there is to know, so I don't need to ask anything! ;D
:) Nice to see you in passing.

However.....I was passing by, and this particular post caught my eye. Well, I have a little Acer notebook that I dual boot
That's odd my daughters laptop is an 'Acer'  :hmm:

Hiya, I'm back. So, I finally managed to get back the nearby pub with my netbook. Admittedly, I've been back several times, possibly a few more the 'several' in truth, but this time with my netbook, and just as importantly..on my own!

So....I asked the barman for the wi-fi password, and when he gave it to me I realised that it was the same one as previously given, and was still stored in wi-fi connections.

I tried again connecting, and much to my amazement it connected immediately. I know this, 'cos I'm in the pub now typing this post using it!

Well...I don't know why it didn't work previously, but it works now.

Now I'm gonna try again, but this time using the Windows partition of this netbook.

We are cooking on gas guys...good to go!  ;D
