I will be moving to Sky in the New Year probably on the 8mb Connect package @ £5 then onto "Mid" once my Exchange is unbundled.
What speeds can i expect?

...Downstream....................Upstream

.SNR Margin...... : 16.5.........28.0 db
Line Attenuation : 18.5.........8.5 db
Data Rate......... : 7616........448 kbps
