Downloaded this little programme yesterday(thanks to members over at C/A forums) which blocks companies from tracking you.
Its amazing how many companies/ad sites track your browsing activity

I use a free addon to Opera & Firefox called Ghostery which does the same thing. Best is it works with Linux.

Yes, I use Ghostery too. I like the way it's so easy to blacklist and whitelist sites.
