Can someone clear a point up for me...

Does O2 (LLU) have to requested a MAC for you from Openreach.

They say they do,I have been told they don't?

Was told the MAC I requested at 1.32pm Saturday would be with me within 24 hours, well it still hasn't arrived.I phoned yesterday and they apologised and said they would request it again from Openreach......Don't Openreach work weekends?

Thanks Kitz,

perhaps they should tell you that when you ask for a Mac,it would stop a lot of confusion especially when you are told it will be with you within 24 hours and to keep an eye on your inbox.

Were you forgetting the working class ? ::) They are still on 5 days.  :)
I've just got off the phone to O2 and should have the make anytime soon.  :fingers:
As you said Phil when mentioning fibre the towel went in and the bag was on its way.

I really do wonder why the difference in O2 staff. My experience was absolutely painless and smooth, yet you seem to have had the opposite. :o

Good for you Phil.
My turn to ask a question, if I may be so bold as it is your thread.

Does the waiting time to go live count as notice time to O2?

Never mind I have just seen your post in Happy37's post

Hi Colin,  :)......ask away, doesn't matter to me about me starting the thread. Now whether I can answer with any sense is another matter   ;D

as I understand it,if you switched over(went live) with your new isp before the 7 days was up then they would charge you £15,but tbh I don't think many isp's can get you switched over in less than a week.

I was given an approximate date of going live on the 23rd.Just received an email saying the official date that Openreach have given them is the 3rd August between 8am and 1pm..

I guess Origin are at the mercy of Openreach as to when they go to the cabinet
