Hello.
« on: November 21, 2007, 12:47:50 AM »

Hi,
My name is Harry, and I am very new to this  part of the site. I have used the various checks and settings on other parts, but I have a specific question which I would like to ask.
Before  that I should tell you I am a "Silver Surfer", having got my bus pass a year or so ago.  So please bear in mind my apparent senility if you should talk to me!! :'(
The little I know about computers is mainly self taught, by the trial and error method, helped by insomnia, and the fact that Rugby League is only on the telly during the summer months! :(
Thanks for having me, and I hope I can be useful in some small way.

 Harry.

Hello Harry,

I'm not quite old enough yet for a bus pass but as I live in the country I'd like to petition the government for a horse pass. Much more enviromental friendly in my opinion. They could have hitching posts in every small village and you just leave the nag there when you are finished for the next person to ride. As long as there is hay and water I'm sure the horsies would be happy enough.      :)

That's an interesting variant on the Paris bike-sharing scheme. :)
