@ eric - ...I thought my "easy to understand" explanation was easy enough to understand...lol  LINE ATTEN = Line Conditions/Quality / SIGNAL ATTEN = Signal Conditions/Quality over the line, well done supplying that link...another great DSL website whirlpools

@ c6em - I did not know that..thanks for telling me..I love it when i learn something new about DSL :)

@ kezzaman - are you trying to say is it possible that too little or too much output power on your upstream might be causing over-active bit-swapping on said channel? possibly... I dont think thats whats happening here though..but i could be wrong
