ASCII star wars

If you've got time on your hands try 'telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl' (I don't know if that's the correct Windows form of the command) and watch the Star Wars movie in ASCII art.

Hehe - I was trying to remember the address for that the other day (I suppose I could have used google, but I wasn't by a PC!!)

And yes, that is the right command for Windows.

Also, for all your IT excuse needs... try the BOFH Excuse Server try 'telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl 666'

I've just got around to trying the 666 option, and it told me that my excuse is boredom in the kernel. :)

That reminded me of the Space Invaders/Star Wars game in Openoffice Calc for some reason.

Paste =GAME("StarWars") into any cell and see what happens ;)

:) Not as good as the original though. Those heart beating sounds in the arcade game really got the adrenaline going.

If you're nostalgic for old games, these two sites have a lot of 'abandon ware':
