We Should Thank These Guys . . .

Without these guys, our homes would have to be about five times larger just to accomodate the PC.  :D

One of those truly ground-breaking inventions. Absolutely amazing at the time, and well-deserving of the Nobel prize.

You would be hard pressed just to write:

"400,000,000,000"

on a postage stamp.  :D

Just bought a book of 1st class stamps today and, at the price of them, I will not deface one just to try.  :lol:

There are some amazingly clever people in the world, I don't consider myself stupid but my brain couldn't even comprehend how a CPU works, how people build something that enables us to do all this stuff from a bunch of transistors!!!!
