i can get the stats now from the modem on all 3 broswers i had to refresh it and thay now show up

i still can not get online if i use lans 2 to the pc

Good stuff :-)

So LAN1 of the HG612 (which provides an ethernet bridge from the DSLAM) is connected to your TalkTalk HG532 router.
And the ethernet NIC of your PC is connected by ethernet cable to an ethernet port on the HG532.
And the HG532 is assigning your PC with a local IP address by DHCP in the range 192.168.1.0/24 (but excluding 192.168.1.1 which is the HG612's static address)?

If those are all okay..

A second ethernet cable should now connect LAN2 of the HG612 to a spare ethernet port on the HG532.
Your PC should then get WAN connectivity with a suitable default route for the HG532
And this configuration should also provide connectivity through http://192.168.1.1 to the GUI of the HG612 for line statistics

cheers, a

thankyou for your help iv tryed and still not able  to get on line il just stick to the normal set up

Yep,

I can confirm that's exactly how mine is set up.

Internet access as per the initial BT setup (different router, but same principle) & access to the HG612 modem by simply typing 192.168.1.1 in the I.E. 8 address bar (Modem LAN2 port connected to a spare Router port).

My P.C.'s NIC is still configured to 192.168.1.100 from when I initially unlocked the HG612, but any old P.C. with an automatically allocated IP address can now access the modem stats via the Netgear router (whether wireless or ethernet connected).

@ covlad,

What you now need to see ALL relevant stats are the Windows Graphing Scripts.

Available from the link in the first post in this thread:-

http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,10552.0.html

They just take a couple of minutes to set up.

That looks like you have a high enough SNRM & attainable rates to achieve much higher speeds (up to 54Mb DS & 16Mb US - subject to any service speed caps), but a Sync Speed (Line rate) of 24999 suggests to me that DLM has capped your connection sync speed profile (possibly due to a number of re-syncs in a short period???)

I believe you should realistically be expecting sync speeds of 40Mb DS & 2Mb or 10Mb US (if on one of the 40Mb services).

That's more like it  :)

You may now need to get onto your ISP to arrange an engineer's visit to request a DLM reset (assuming you are still only in sync at 24999 k).

Alternatively you could wait & see if DLM eventually decides to try your connection at a higher sync speed again.
This usually takes quite a few days/weeks & sometimes DLM gets indefinitely "stuck".

Only mention the unlocked modem as a very, very last resort though, as it could give BT an excuse to refuse a "free of charge" engineer's visit on the basis that YOU must have broken the modem by unlocking it!

Currently, DLM can only be reset on request from an engineer who is actually on site at the time.
