The Joiners Ear
« on: November 19, 2007, 08:38:15 AM »

While the joiner was cutting timber on the circular saw he slipped forward and sliced his ear off.He quickly picked up the ear and rushed to a&e.The surgeon looked at the ear and said he was sorry but it could not be sewn back on.He then said he could transplant a pigs ear if it was acceptable. The joiner said that was fine as it was only somewhere to keep his pencil.
After a week the doctor removed the bandages and said it looked fine.He then told the joiner to put on some headphones to test his hearing. The doctor said how is it,the joiner replied my good ears fine but I,m getting a lot of cracklin in the other.

Iíve been (pork) scratching around for a bigger groan-joke but got hambushed in my search and ended up with nothing more than a Delboy Trotter joke about a Jewish porkpie hat. But that would be politically incorrect so I will st(a)y away from jokes that might muddy the thread.

I don't want to hog the limelight.
