D-Link DSL-2740B
« on: March 18, 2012, 08:44:48 AM »

I saw one of these on eBay the other day at a great price so I decided to get it.

I am currently looking at the best firmware for low SNR on this router. The Kitz wiki says that 2.73 is the best firmware, does anyone else have another opinion?

Thank you.

ftp://ftp.dlink.pl/dsl/dsl-2740b/driver_software/

plenty to choose from... I haven't played with a 2740B for a good while now, so can't advise a specific version to try, sorry (as you may have gathered I'm a bit of a D-Link buff). However, the D-link poland ftp site has plenty to choose from. Also, they should work with DMT and routerstats, possibly the "as-is" or with the tweaked v8.07, depending on which fw you're using at the time...let us know how you get on :)
