Christmas Tipple?
« on: December 18, 2011, 10:17:08 AM »

I was looking under the list of liqueurs,the choice is mind blowing  :o

Also a vast array of whiskey and other drinks

I see that there are a few described as collectors' items only, not fit for human consumption. If I were tempted to spend that much on a bottle of liqueur, I would certainly expect to be able to drink it. ;D

I see what you mean about the 'collectors items'   Eric    ::) no good as a decoration is it   :D

One of my favourite liqueurs is Crème de Cassis  (black-currents)  and  a very small amount topped up with a dry white wine,   makes my favourite aperitif Kir   .....  use Champagne instead of white wine for a Kir Royale        :yum:      Santé !  ;D

@TD.. :D

I quite like Benedictine liqueur and also Grand Marnier,oh and a nice glass of good port.

My beer for Christmas will be Innes &Gunn rum cask conditioned beer which is 7.4% (which I'm sure my late dad would have approved of) :)
