I never have that problem with my set as all the buttons are at the front,perhaps you need to upgrade  ;D


My grandparents had an identical Bush telly to this one.
Eventually I got it to play with. I made a short wave receiver out of it, (minus the tube of course).
The strange thing was that this receiver was a TRF (Tuned Radio Frequency) when every other analogue set I have seen has been a Superhet or even a Double Superhet.
I watched the Coronation on this set, sat together with about twenty of my older relatives.
