IE8 and managing add ons: only disable not delete
(1/1)
renluop:
I am attempting to rid myself of any trace of nasties from Bandoo Media, viz Searchqu and DataManager.
I seem to have got rid both everywhere including the registry, but they remain listed add ons, albeit as disabled.
I can find no way to delete absolutely.
Ideas please.
UncleUB:

Update!
I seem to have got rid of the offenders. At least I can't see obvious traces in Search or the Registry. Do you think that I should even so send a HJT log to, say, Malwarebytes, or elsewhere?
