Site Downtime Today (Sat 27 Oct)

Hiya

Some of you will have noticed that the site was down today for some time.

This was due to the hosting company doing some planned maintenance. Unfortunately kitz is away at the moment and I forgot to post a notice up giving advanced warning... doh!

Apologies for that.. there may POSSIBLY be some more downtime tomorrow as the maintence window extends up to 11pm tomorrow night.

A tip for anyone trying to work out if it's the website that is down, or if your ISP is having problems is to use the W3C Markup Validation Service.

http://validator.w3.org/

Put the full URL (including http:// ) into that and it will return an error message if the website is down. There are other similar ways of testing to see if the site is down but I find this one more reliable than most.
