Floydy's Astounding Trivia #3
« on: October 23, 2007, 09:22:30 AM »

This week's quiz is all about quotes from classic movies.  There are 20 points up for grabs - one for naming the movie the quote is from, and another for naming the actor/actress who said it.

Have fun and good luck. :)

1) "Story of my life. I always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop."

2) "Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine."

3) "The first rule of this household is discipline."

4) "Never rub another man's rhubarb."

5) "I run a couple of newspapers. What do you do?"

6) "In here, life is beautiful. The girls are beautiful. Even the orchestra is beautiful!"

7) "I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner."

8 ) "I'm not going to waste my time arguing with a man who's lining up to be a hot lunch."

9) "Is he a pig? He sure eats like one."

10) "But I tried, didn't I? Goddamnit, at least I did that. "

Isn't  'play it again Sam' the misquote?  I'm sure there's one to do with Casablanca and it's donkey's years since I've watched it  :-\

Good quiz anyway, thanks Floyd  8)

Yes that is it Steph... it probably became a well known mis-quote from the Woody Allen movie 'Play it again Sam'.  What was said in Casablanca was 'play it Sam'.
