No not at all.

ADSL24 is a brilliant ISP but it's a pain having to watch my peak time downloads.

Think I'll go with BT's unlimited usage on Broadband and Phone. It's about the same as I'm paying now BUT It means I get:

A new 'N' router
£30 Quidco Cashback
3 Months with £8 Discount
Can sell my current router for £20

So really I'm gaining £24 discount + £30 Cashback + £20 sale of old router = Unlimited Downloads and £74!

So do BT Option 3 (Unlimited) throttle at peak times?

NO

Correction.....even option 3 is affected "when the network is busy" (a BT quote) as regards P2P. So at peak times there may be throttling.

Really?!

That's a bit bad. I'll be paying for their highest service and getting slow ass speeds at peak times?

How much do they throttle though? I won't be on Infinity, just their standard BB and I can get 3mb maximum.

I have already asked you but.......what isp's are LLU enabled in your local exchange.Using an isp who is LLU enabled cuts the need for ip profiling.

TalkTalk and AOL so I won't be going with them.
