[Achilles Last Stand]

Well it was a glorious drive to work this morning, the roads were actually pretty good but all the trees and hedgerows were white, it was like driving through fairyland all silvery glittery snowy and gorgeous.

I actually had to stop and take a photo - this is from a [locally] well known viewpoint, Farthing Common.  On a good day you can see for miles and miles and miles... the sea is on the horizon to the left (well, behind that clump of trees) and Eric's pad is probably in front of you somewhere  8)



The poor cows who are usually in that field obviously did a fair bit of tramping to keep warm looking at the hoof prints

My pad would be more or less in the middle of the picture, some 6km distant. Pad? PAD??!!

The gun turrets are not visible - we're modern here, and use ray guns. 8)

Us Yorkies tend to drop our aiches (H's) so the "well known viewpoint" sounds like a very interesting place.

It really does look very nice, I just hope that is the last of the inclement weather that you get for the rest of this year.

It's quite cloudy here near sunny (?) blackpool... not cold enough for snow I don't think, but I haven't seen any rain... yet!

I was getting back at Kate for always telling us what lovely weather she has in the south of France

I thought it was a nice sunny day until I went for a cycle ride in just a shirt.
I only rode around the block because the wind was blomming cold.
