Gentlefolk,

I have recently obtained an 8800NL for my "wheelbarrow" to be used as test equipment in a variety of different locations and modes. The main reasons for the temporary replacements are for performance comparisons and to use Bald Eagle 1's modem performance logging.

1.  Has anybody used this device as a replacement bridge-mode VDSL modem only ? Has anybody hit any snags and work-arounds ? Are there recommended modem settings to change ?

2.  If the modem / router is to replace a VDSL configuration completely what are the recommended settings ?

3.  Ditto an ADSL connection ?

see my threads, I am using it in bridge mode modem only and in addition I am doing this without a 2nd lan cable.
