Thursday 30th Chat
« on: July 30, 2009, 08:01:44 AM »

Morning all,

The sun has got his hat on this morning...I hope it lasts after all the rain yesterday.  I hope too that TD is ok and can manage to pop on today.  Pleased to read that Sue is feeling a little better Uncy, long may it continue (no doubt down to doc Uncy I expect...hehe).

Have a good day everyone whatever you're up to.

Chrissie

Good morning Chrissie and all who may follow. :)

Just had an almighty torrential downpour  :rain:

Sue is feeling a bit better, she has been up and about, but still feels quite weak.

To sign of TD again, getting a bit worried about the old boy. :(

Nothing much planned today, can't even get in the garden, apart from the greenhouse where the tomatoes want feeding.

Have a good day whatever you are doing  :)

Morning (just) all :)

Where are you TD? :(

I'm doing some car paint touching-up today, having scraped it against a concrete pillar in a car park yesterday. :'(

Nothing else much planned. Have a nice day. ;D

Thanks. It's only scraped paint, no actual damage. I turned right out of a parking place a bit carelessly and scraped the rear wheel arch a bit. :(

Well after the weather behaving today I finally have a concrete base so the shed can finally be ordered! Lets hope the sun stays out  :)

@Roseway: Some of the Halfords touch up is good. Give it a polish over after its dried and that should bring back the shine - although bare in mind pressing too hard with a polishing cloth will bring the paint off again ;)

@Unc, nice to hear that Sue is up and about  :)

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd already bought an official touch-up kit from the manufacturer (Toyota) to match the paint colour exactly. It was very expensive, but having now done the job, I would say that it was worth it because the retouched panels look practically as good as new.
