This was a series I really enjoyed.

Unfortunately can't find the second part which shows how the Romans developed a standard currency which could be used across their entire empire. In effect the original Euro. It was based on a standard weight of gold referd to a a "Punde Libre" (sound familiar ?) the symbol for which was based on the first letter of one of those words but with a couple of lines through it to denote it is a reference to Money.

This Original euro is still in use in some places.........Punde..........Libre............?

                               Euro, we've still got it

Been said before but just a reminder:
The Euro breaks down into 100 Eurines.
You could end up with a pocket full of p###.   :P
