System is Win7 64 bit.
Sometimes when I first boot up in the morning, after I have logged in to my account, the mouse (usb connected) will not move despite its red light being on.
The only cure is to hard close down and reboot.
Can anyone suggest a reason for the odd behaviour?
I had wondered if the attached has any bearing on the matter.

Why not try uninstalling bejeweled2 and then see what happens.
If all is fine then it is a conflict or problem, there may be a patch to fix it?

I'm not anxious to do that until I know it is the cause. Can anyone interpret the attachment?

Its only a game which can easily be re-installed if its not causing the mouse problem.
Have you tried using another mouse?

Bjlwd is part of Dell's Wild Tangent games package, now uninstalled. So now to see what happens tomorrow morning.
I wonder if the mouse is likely as the cause: it works otherwise. Also the computer "On" button does not seem very responsive when the problem arises. Could environment temperature affect perforamnce like that?

It rather looks to me as though some process is hogging the CPU, thus making the system sluggish. It may well be related to the error message which you showed. Now it's uninstalled, it will be interesting to see if the problem goes away.

Why not just restart your computer and see if all is well. ???
Have you tried the mouse in another (if you have a spare one)usb port?
Have you tried looking in the task manager and seeing if anything is running/using more processor power than normal.

It's not going to help much, but I do see a LOT of systems where a particular USB device causes problems at bootup.
In the worst case this can hang the BIOS so it just never boots at all.
In all cases the device works fine if plugged in after the system is up, changing ports usually makes no difference and similar devices work fine. And it works fine on a different system!
I've come to the conclusion that some USB devices just mess up the interface on some systems, which in turn is rather fragile.
Life's too short, so if it's not that easy to only plug the "whatever" in when the system is up (and take it out later) I just replace it.

Why not just restart your computer and see if all is well. ??? A restart in day would not be with a cold system
Have you tried the mouse in another (if you have a spare one)usb port? A thought for a scranbling mood
Have you tried looking in the task manager and seeing if anything is running/using more processor power than normal. Puzzled how to do if all is frozen. ATM no sign of high processor power use

Removed WT last night and this morning all started with no hitch. Actually there were two versions of the package on the computer.
