Title: 64 bit version and a 32bit .exe
Post by: renluop on April 28, 2011, 08:55:24 PM
I have Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit and have tried to run a 32 bit program that is incompatible with my system.

How may I get round this? Please.

W7x64 has lots of compatibility options, I'm surprised it doesn't work.
What EXACTLY is the program and how did you install it?

(The only problems I've had are with drivers for very old devices)

The program is txpath. It is a sort of extension to Wolfbane's Didital Predictor's web site; example  http://www.wolfbane.com/cgi-bin/tvd.exe?DX=D&HT=10&OS=SP527087
that gives details of Txs that my be suitable for a Rx location. Txpath gives the terrain between Tx and Rx
Downloaded to desktop and run normally.

Right-mouse-click the program and choose Troubleshoot Compatibilty, simples.  ;)

Thanks HP :) but that did not work. However with stronger Googles on I came across  mention of converting the exe extension to ps. That done the files are viewable in Ghostscript.
