Title: Receiving reply emails addressed to another
Post by: renluop on February 10, 2011, 05:44:10 PM
The leader of a group I belong to sends messages to members, listing all recipients as "To" rather than "BCC". He uses Hotmail,

Two fellow members have replied to him and I have also received their replies. Assuning that they are unlikely to have "Cc"d me, and I cansee no mention of "CC" in Message Headers, what is the likely reason for me getting the messages?

One uses AOL the other Hotmail. I am with +net.

The people who replied may have used "Reply to mailing list" (if that's what it is) or "Reply to all".

Thanks: funny how even having seen the option, I did not think of that.
