Title: Spam or Scam?

I received the text printed below today and wonder is it Scam or Spam?  And how did the sender get my mobile number?
I shall delete it after I've read any replies.

Hi Peter,

I get those from time to time (O2 mobile)..Don't even reply to them,once you send STOP,then they no someone is at the end of their texts and you will just get bombarded with more texts,just delete it. ;)

Scam or spam......take your pick,certainly isn't genuine,probably ambulance chasers
