Not sure if this game will pan out, but after seeing some of the replies in the Choices thread.. thought we could perhaps give it a go.
The idea is to list things you love or hate alternatively, with trying if possible to keep a link. (Explanations are optional)
So an example could be

lol you'd be at home in my garden this summer then.. not done as much this year as I normally do (due to the appauling "summer" in June/July.) But Im a softy and let a couple of nettles grow down near the shed for the butterflies... and my pond is home to many a frog.
I'd love to be able to have it landscaped properly.. but I just keep on top of it within a budget.

Well, it's like this... he went up to Newcastle last week to visit his sister before she went on holiday.... on Wednesday he rings me up and says someone had dropped out of the holiday party so sister had invited him instead... so Saturday he flies off to Orlando. So too right, I want a pressie 8)
I sent him the money and instructions for the player though.... although dropped a big hint that a better model than I'd chosen would have been nice if I'd had more money >:D

I don't mind in some respects - it's when sizes are given in cm and I can't picture how big they are. Bin bags are a prime example. I have a large pedal bin in the kitchen - the label on it said 30L when I bought it - fair enough. I try to buy bags - the first lot were in cm and barely came halfway down the bin. The next lot said 'capacity 35 litres' so I thought - bit bigger than 30L so should be fine but :no: still too small. I've gone back to black sacks - way too large but hey :shrug2:

What really cheeses me off is when produce has to be (quite rightly) measured and priced in metric (as per several European directives), and supermarkets insist on packaging minced beef in 454 gram packs, instead of rounding it up to a sensible 500... it's as if they are trying to hang on to imperial quantities regardless. If the 1970's labour government hadn't backed down on going completely metric, we would've got used to metric quantities years ago.

He was such a funny guy,like you say he died so young. My favourite films are Uncle Buck,The Great Outdoors,Cool Runnings and Trains Planes and Automobiles.
