Title: Adobe Reader version 10
Post by: UncleUB on November 23, 2010, 10:38:07 AM
I have just looked on FileHippo and seen that the latest Adobe reader is version 10,But when you visit the Adobe site the version  to download for Vista is Adobe X,Adobe 9.4(which is what I have) or Adobe 8.2.

Is version 10 the the same as Adobe X

I think they're the same thing. If you go to the Adobe site here: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html and click on "Download ADOBE READER X" it takes you to the download for 9.4.

So perhaps FileHippo have mistaken 'X' for 10.

[Edit] Take no notice of me, I was rambling.

Ah, in that case there might be a difference between the Windows and Linux versions, so ignore what I said (if you haven't already :) ).

Yes, now I look more closely, I see that version X isn't yet available for Linux, so it is a different version.
