Title: I had to read this twice!

Just been and bought a Daewoo refrigerator from Apollo today so that the old one can go in the shed for things like beer etc.

Waiting four hours for the system to settle before plugging in, so I read the instruction book. I know, men NEVER need to read instruction books, but I had some time to kill. (My excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Well! Page 4 Temperature control.

The temperature control is located inside the refrigerator and as a safety feature the control can only be adjusted with the door open.

Hello! Yes, that's what it says. I am pleased about that feature, will stop any midget getting inside and playing with the knob. (Temperature knob, I meant.)   :lol:

Have you checked to make sure the light goes out when the door is closed?

Latest Update.

It has been standing for 4 hours so plugged it in and the instructions are correct. The safety feature cut in straight away.
I was unable to change the temperature setting knob without opening the door to get at it. System works perfect!  :P
