Thought this might interest of anyone who is already with O2 broadband.
I just gave them a call and asked what incentive the would give me to renew my O2 BB contract. They have offered me 3 month free so I said yes.
£7.50 a month x 12 =£90 a year - 3 months free @ £7.50,works out @ just over £5.62 a month
I have been very happy since I joined them last September.

I did that on my first renewal last November.....so I'll try it again this November.

I did something similar on Be renewal, it obviously committed me to a years contract but I got 3 months free. :)

If you are happy with the service it's a no brainer.
But don't renew an O2 ACCESS account.
Only do it if it is free but they never accepted my free offer :)
But they have been known to give it free in the past as it is so bad.

I'm LLU
I couldn't understand that my existing contract doesn't expire till 30th Sept(that was the date my o2 connection went live),yet my new one starts from today. Not complaining,my Sept/Oct/Nov bills will be ...£0

I also had my first 3 months free and I also had to sign up to another 12 month contract but I didn't mind as I was pleased with the O2 service so it was a no brainer.
I didn't have to do anything as they contacted me on my mobile which was unexpected !
I haven't been with O2 for 2 years yet and they have already offered me 3 months free on my broadband account, I was with BT for 14 years and in all that time they never offered me any special deal until I told them I was leaving them and moving my phone service to O2 but I said that it's too late ;D

Hi all
I renewed mine last week after a fantastic first year with them.
They called me and wanted to know if I was content to stay with them, and I said yes, and I also asked what they could offer to keep me as a customer.
They had 2 deals on offer:-
1. A new 12 month contract, with the first 3 months free, coupled with the fact that I have an O2 mobile. So, it would have been £0 for 3 months, and £7.50 a month for the remainder.
Not too bad.....but.....they went one step further.
2. A new 12 month contract, but for £5 a month for the whole contract. So, £60 for the whole year.
I went with the 2nd option.....am a very happy bunny indeed.
