Title: Evenin' all!
Post by: Lucky! on July 25, 2007, 08:43:33 PM
So many familiar faces on here I thought I'd logged in to the C/A forum by mistake

Right then, time to think of a witty debut post.........................................................

Yep, but my sig clearly didn't! I'll have to give that another go in a minute.
Registered with my yahoo addy and it seems to have done the trick - AOL can be such a pain.

Feels kind of......civilised round these parts, a man could get used to it. ;)

Welcome Lucky,

In photobucket use the IMG Code not the HTML Code for these forums:
Now I'll have to go and look it up to see if it is swearing.

It starts with  [  ] with img inside.

Come on then, save me Googling. Is it rude?

Rude? Moi? Nah, it's "Seize the Day". It's tattooed on the back of my neck but don't have a pic of that to use as a sig.

I thought it was something like "Big Goldfish Died This Morning".

I hope the back of your neck is cleaner than the background on your signature  :P

If not

Hi lucky and welcome :)

Glad you finally made it... not sure why the AOL mails dont seem to be getting through.  AOL do seem on occasions to be a little over-zealous with their spam filtering :/

Hi Lucky, welcome to the refugee camp.

The back of your neck looks quite sore!

Is this any better for your signature?

Hey Kitz, cheers for the welcome. After reading about problems others have with spam, I'm not gonna complain about AOL being a bit sharp on the spam front - I consider myself unlucky if I get one a week! ;D

Thanx for those Dave. Yet another familiar face!
That doesn't look too sore. This, on the other hand
(https://forum.kitz.co.uk/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi128.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp185%2Fsidkinky%2Ffonepics019.jpg&hash=3d07c2538517fd7b0ebfc5b0a0dbd4ee694f55a6)
was four and a half hours of erm, mild discomfort!

'Tis indeed. It's been too long since me last one - I'm getting the itch again.

ouch I bet that was sore.

Ive been summoning up the courage for about 11 years now to get a tat.  I chickened out at the last min when my mate had one done and it hurt like hell or so she said.

C'mon Kitz, a bit of pain never hurt anybody(!)
How about I design a tat for you - never seen the point of picking one off of the wall, all mine are self drawn.
11 years is a hell of a wait, let's do something about it!

I've just been reading elsewhere about someone who's just had it done, and the advice they've been given for looking after it, one item of which was "don't pick the scabs off"

I think I won't bother   (not that I was going to anyway - having my ears pierced was enough pain for me)

:D  Personally, getting pierced hurt more than getting inked. but of course each person's thresh-hold differs. But they do say that women have a greater tolerance over a prolonged period.
So come on ladies, time to get that full back-piece!!  >:D

Hi Lucky, I have heard that the worst  tattoo is the Celtic arm band especially around the inner part of the arm I maybe wrong but not going to have it done to find out,

Afternoon Fletch.
As a very rough guide: Over a muscle (arm, thigh etc) not bad. Over bone (collar bone, ankle etc) a bit more sore. Soft flesh (inside arm, inner thigh etc) - ouch!

I know of a place that'll do the sole of the foot for free - if you can handle it!! :o

The tat I was going to have done about 11yrs ago was one of those chinese chars.. and just above the ankle.  That was before they became very popular there..  and thats where it hurt when my mate had hers done.

The only other one that I have considered is a design that I saw somewhere once (but not again) which I would have had done on either my upper arm or back.

Ive never been able to describe it properly, because it was very cleverly done.. but it was an image of a cats face.  However it was actually what I believe to be a "tribal" or celtic design where its actually black stripes and shapes that come together to make up the cats face which was predominantly the upper part of the face/eyes.

So come on ladies, time to get that full back-piece!!

I think this has to be one of the worst that Ive personally seen.
The yellow is actually bruising and I know damn well it hurt like hell - despite him not openly admitting it and he wasnt a wimp by any means.
The larger pic I have shows how swollen the flesh actually is.

Personally I didn't like it but there's a reason why he had it done.
He did intend having angel wings added to it on another session, but it never got finished.
Bless ya Mark - still miss ya like crazy.

I know the style you mean Kitz, and how did I know it'd be feline in nature? ;)
I'd be more than happy to do a few sketches.

I'm not much of an artist - so something like that would be hard for me to do :/

Kimi even dragged me back to the shop where we originally saw the image , but it was about 6 months (or more) later and it had gone and they didnt recall it.
I think it was predominantly the cats eyes that drew me to it as it was so cleverly done.

Ive just been searching on the net - but I cant see anything like it - although I did see this one which I thought was kinda cute.

Was it along these lines Kitz?
(https://forum.kitz.co.uk/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi128.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp185%2Fsidkinky%2FScreenHunter_06Jul3019.54.jpg&hash=a2622388df3ba5878a42fe369986af849edb434b)

I've had the ol' crayons out today, got a couple of sketches down, so I'll let you know when they're done.

Typical me - join an adsl forum and end up contributing tat designs! ;D

Thats very good :)
but the one I saw was really just more the eyes disgusied as tiger stripes. I'll see if I can get kim to post later to see if shes any better at describing it than me.

heh  - see we all have our uses :D
