Title: Epson printer SX415
Post by: Belz on December 22, 2009, 05:32:17 PM
I am using compatible inks for this SX415 printer.  Every time I print, a warning message comes up to say do I want to continue because using compatibles may damage the printer.  Is there any way to turn this off?

It is no real problem, but would be easier if I could just get on and print without having to OK it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Tbh,I doubt it,its just the manufacturers trying to guilt trip you in to buying their genuine cartridges.
I had a similar problem when my HP cartridges(genuine) had gone past their expiry date. There was still plenty of ink in them and they printed fine, just kept getting an annoying pop up reminding me of the fact every time. :)
