At least I havent had to water the garden.
Seriously though - the weather has been pretty carp.

Normally I like the odd bit of gardening,, but this year has been terrible :/

New wiring !.. Hope you have informed the local council ( see my other post re  'Part P').

The rain ... In Derbyshire we've had a fair share of heavy rain and other areas share as well !...with some local flooding .
In our village the main road can turn into a river within 20 mins after very heavy rain, for 11 years we ran the village shop which is located on the main road .
we had several floods in them 11 years, but with a bit of luck it only came to within half an inch of coming into the shop.
The problem is there is a brook that runs under the road and when that get full up we flood, our house is up the hill from the main road so we have always been ok.

Similarly we have St. Medard's Day and St. Protase's Day on the June 8th and 19th respectively ........... :'(  I've always pooh poohed these superstitions, but following our recent weather I'm not so sure  :'(
