I would like to get either a NAS Box or Server Unit, but do not know what I really want or need.
Basically I would like to centralize all my slave/storage HDD's into one accessible unit from my network.
Maybe with enough bays to hold at least 4 extra HDD's but 6+ would be better, however the current drives are a mixture of mainly SATA, but also IDE, although if it complicates matters too much I don't mind forgetting the IDE drives.
I don't think I need anything too elaborate, maybe something as a starter type unit (I just don't know)
I have looked at some of the Dell & HP Server units, but that's silly money.
Any advice on what may be suitable or available would be most appreciated.
