I am sending this message via a non-existent BT Broadband connection!
I am supposed to be having a new phone & BB service connected today at my new abode. I came over yesterday with a phone and my BT Business Hub. I plugged the phone in and got dial tone. I rang my mobile to see what the number was; it was the correct one for my order. I plugged in my hub; it lit up and I was getting about 1 meg throughput which rose to about 2 meg within an hour.
I rang BT customer service to see if I still needed to wait in for the engineer to come. They checked their records and siad that there were 3 engineering operation that were logged to be done & couldn't understand why it was working. Fired the lapdog up this morning and I'm getting 6850 down, which is what I would expect on an interleaved service.
BT tester does not work, so I assume my line is not yet on BT database.
I'm still waiting for a call from the engineer.
I'm not complaining though. ;)

Lol - let's hope they don't break it when they come to 'fix' it ::)

When they turn up you'll probably get charged for an unnecessary callout. :P

Actually, Eric, he just rang me and said he wouldn't need to call here. :P
