Depressing, isn't it? That's the industry which paid my wages for 30 years, and in fact Toshiba Plymouth was one of my customers.

Perhaps we excell in regulation and hot air manufacturing !

Yes, a sad day indeed - british electronics used to be some of the best quality, best sounding and reliable goods in the world - now we import practically everything electrical - in fact I doubt I even own an electrical item manufactured in the UK!
