Title: IE Problem Wikipedia problem

Hi folks

When i try to open wikipedia in IE it keeps coming up with file download. I am currently using firefox to view what i need to on wiki but as a IE8 fan i want to know how to resolve this problem

same happens even when i put it into the address bar

What i have done so far

Spyware check
Virus Check
CCleaner
Restart BT Home hub

Still coming up the same

This might help  ....   in IE8 ...Tools.. Compatibility view settings ....  check that the box is  ticked next to  ' Display All Websites in Compatibility View'  .....        :fingers:

Do you have Google desktop search installed by any chance?

The cure seems to be the one advised by kate to "Display all websites in compatibility view".
